I usually don’t give this type of stuff air, I don’t believe in giving the “Haters” the attention and satisfaction they seek. But this has been bothering me for a while, and it’s so disappointing. 

So a lot of you may see on my twitter, i get a lot of abuse. I can take it, lol it’s twitter. The only time i worry about “Drama” is when it’s right in front of me, i don’t have the time or interest in causing pointing arguments online.

The only thing that annoys me in this situation, is that the tweets i get are just so far fetched. I’m not going to go into specifics, but it’s pathetic. I even get people putting pictures together of me to try and insult me lol! The only way i can feel about that is disappointment, I find it pathetic people spend time putting together pictures and tweets not only to me but to people in general who they don’t even know! I bet if most of these people actually knew me, they’d realise very quickly i’m one of the nicest guys ever. 

To the people who tweet me on a regular basis, if you want to keep it up and waste your time please be my guest. I don’t see how people try so god damn hard for social acceptance on twitter lol, be yourself and have fun.

I’m thankful, everday for having the most simplest of things…

Being healthy, having a good upbringing. It’s the things we can’t control that matter the most. I couldn’t imagine being born deaf, blind or even unhealthy. 

It annoys me that so many people take these everyday, simple but vital things for granted. They complain about cars, or clothes, or what phone model they have, but does that really matter?

Remember that most things in life , is within your control. Don’t like where you live? Don’t like your job? Don’t like the relationship you’re in? Change it! Remember this every day.

Sure, this is vague and very naive. But on some level i’m sure we can all relate. 

Start the day on a good note and you’ll end on an even better one.

In the GTA Article, the ex rockstar Intern mentioned the main character in GTA V Was the young male in the red convertible, he’s either mexican or african american… I find this hard to believe, if you listen to the actual GTA Trailer, (No racism intended lol)  the voice just wouldn’t fit the person who the “Intern” suggested… I’ve also heard from separate sources, the main character is someone called “Albert de silva” Not this “Adrian”. This makes me wonder, is the article trustworthy? Or is it just some guy feeding us bad information for attention?

I have a theory, It may be inaccurate but take a moment to think about this…

I don’t believe for a minute this gta v info was “Leaked” by an intern at rockstar, It all seems to… Common, too typical. In my blog yesterday i mentioned how rockstar has always kept previous game titles, big or small tight lipped. Now arguably their biggest game has been leaked? Take a look at the info, none of it is relatively spoiling the game plot. I think Rockstar let this see the light, so they can get the community’s take on things, to discreetly get criticism for some of the features in the game. I could very well be wrong, but it’s hard to believe a random intern was given all of this information and was able to just leak it oh so simply.

What are your thoughts on this? I’m a GTA Fanatic, fanboy, give me a tweet on your thoughts!

The thing I love about rockstar games, is 1 - They make GREAT Games. Look at previous titles like Bully, the warriors, red dead redemption and of course the GTA Franchise. 

But something that i’ve always been impressed with, is the fact that they’re always so secretive and tight lipped about upcoming tittles, for example the GTA 5 Trailer came out what, November 2011. They gave away a few subtle hints with the trailer, but other than that there was nothing for months. Even for big releases in the past like GTA San andreas (And i remember waiting for this game) There was nothing leaked, only information they wanted the public to know. That’s something I appreciate and something I look up to.

Unfortunately I’m not sure if that can still be said! Leaked information about GTA 5 may have been leaked by an ex employee of rockstar games, I’m not going to link it here but you can google it for yourself. The article goes into small details about the character, the setting, and some of the features within the game. I actually had a pretty good time reading it, as i’m such a fanatic about GTA, but that article shouldn’t be taken too seriously at this point. With possibly over a year until release of the title, anything can happen between now and then.

This is a little weird, yet expected, but still disappointing…

If i blog or tweet about something gaming/optic related, i get a huge response, but if i blog about something serious to me, let’s say something about life. Maybe I’ll get like 1 - 2 replies compared to 100’s lol. It’s just a little disappointing, I feel like a lot of people tend to just overlook my non gaming posts because it doesn’t appeal to them. They don’t give it a chance, because that’s not what they know me for right? The know me for Optic, for gaming. It’s odd, because if a really big public figure tweeted, or quoted something really touching… People would be all over it, they’d eat that shit up, but if just an average joe does it they completely overlook it, like it isn’t a big deal. That’s the thing about YouTube, about this community. Someone “Big” does something average, or just above average and they’re put on this huge pedestal, but if someone completely unknown does it there just no hype and a lack of support behind it.

This annoys me, as a community we should help each other, whether you have 50 thousand followers on twitter or 500, it shouldn’t matter. I don’t want people to see me as a “YouTuber” because i’m not. The fact is i’m just an average guy, just like many people in many ways. I Don’t want any special attention, I just wish people would give things a chance! Regardless of if people take to this blog or not, i’ll still do my thing. People seem to have no idea just how much work i do for optic, I’m one hard working mother F’er… I love what i do, and man the future is looking good buds. 

Probably about to hit the bed right now, But i’ll be doing my #MontageMondays segment this monday, where you can tweet me your montages/episodes and i’ll be checking them out and tweeting out the best ones. 

I’m not quite sure how i’ll feel about this blog after typing it out, I don’t want it to come across like i’m asking for attention, I don’t want special treatment, but it would be nice to get some solid feedback on things NON gaming related, the world is a big place. I’m sure you all have your own thoughts on this, but somethings, especially for me, it’s hard to put my feelings into words.

That’s one big ass blog. 

People worry too much, for some people every day is a constant worry about things that just aren’t important. I read a tweet not long ago, I don’t recall who said it. But it was one of the smartest things I’ve heard of in a long time and it made me realise… “Worrying about things is like taking an umbrella and waiting for it to rain”.

Life has it’s ups and downs, don’t worry too much. Take life how it comes, I’m no life guru,  but you’re reading my blog, and theres my opinion = )

Hey! This community is huge, I don’t think I’ll ever understand just how many people lol. There’s always a huge amount of people tweeting me their videos throughout the week, which is fine. I just don’t always get time to check them out, so I’m going to aim to check out your montages every monday (Around 7pm GMT If you want to be specific).

Best ones I’ll be tweeting out, and giving some tips/advice via the comment section! Excited to see just how many people pick this up and tweet me… Want me to check yours out? A lot of nights I come outside, see the stars and it just fascinates me. Astronomy programmes amaze me. I was watching one the other day, I definitely don’t believe we’re alone in the universe, would be naive to think that.

I’m a firm believer of eceryines being entitled to their own opinions, this is mine. I don’t believe in any form of religion, or greater power… But I do believe in other life, and I so happen to believe aliens/extraterrestrials have interfered or guided our civilisation, our very existence. Ask yourself, how did humans go from the horse and carriage, to being on the moon in what, 100 years time span?

Call me crazy, but some of the stuff out there is just incomprehensible… I doubt very highly the world will randomly end in 2012. But what do we really know? We’re one spec of life in a space which you couldn’t explain with words.

Random thought of the nice, I’m always thinking.

BLOG: Optic recruitment?

I’m going to go into a little detail on what we’re looking for in new players. (If any).

It should be noted, this is my blog, and these are mainly my thoughts, what i tweet or blog doesn’t reflect Optic gaming as a whole. 

What I’m personally looking for in this community right now, Is montage makers who break the mould. More specifically I’m very interested in montage makers who spend a lot of time (2/3 months+) On really epic montages. This blog is some what of a calling out to people like that, fact is I don’t see enough of montages like the ones that used to Inspire me to play, or maybe I’m just not looking in the right places. This description is somewhat… Brief, and that’s because I don’t feel I need to go into great detail. I don’t want to put it into words, I’d rather want to see it, for someone to take the initiative and do it for their own reasons.

However, I don’t want to discourage montage makers, if you’re someone who puts a lot of time into this youtube thing, someone who can make entertaining, high quality videos, and someone who has a hell of a lot of fun doing this. Continue doing it, each time you upload a video, link it to me on Twitter. I may not always respond right away, or even view all the links. But i’m just one guy, and this sin’t something that i have to do. I have a huge passion for this community, and to put it plainly, I enjoy helping people.
